Are you dreaming of a relaxing holiday in the midst of nature on a pristine golden sandy beach ? In Playa Garza on the northern pacific coast of Costa Rica this dream becomes true. Garza is a small fishing village 5 minutes away from Blue Spirit Retreat and 5km south of Playa Guiones (Nosara). It is tucked along a stunningly beautiful palm fringed crescent shaped bay. The natural harbour makes Playa Garza to the center for sport fishing and scuba diving in the area of Nosara.
Playa Garza is an ideal place for swimming (as there is no rip tide) and for snorkeling, kayaking, stand up paddling, horseback riding and much more.
In Garza there are two grocery stores for the daily need and 3 restaurants. In Guiones ( Nosara) which is about 15 minutes away there are lots of good restaurants, shopping facilities, grocery stores, surf shops and 2 banks and a gasoline station. Nosara offers a lot of tourist activities as yoga, surfing, zip lining, ATV and other excursions.
Our vacational rental houses are nestled in the hills of Garza at walking distance to the beach. Both houses are in a safe, private and tranquil neighborhood and next to the host’s home.
CASA PEPITO is a single family house with panoramic ocean view, surrounded by a lushious, beautiful tropcal garden of fruit trees and natural jungle flora and fauna. It is the only house on a 1 ½ acre (5'000 m2) property.
LA CASITA , the tropical bungalow, is enbedded in the hosts property, yet has a fully private entrance and a secure, private parking. It is embraced with a fruit and jungle garden. Enjoy the perfume of the ginger, jasmin and ylang ylang and the organic bananas and papayas !
San José, the capital of Costa Rica, gets flights from most international airlines. From San Jose Airport(SJO) it takes approx. 4 ½ hours by car to Garza. From there you can get a daily flight to Nosara by Sansa Airlines or a public bus or shuttle services (Grayline, Interbus).
More and more international airlines fly directly to Liberia Airport from where you can easily reach Garza either by a shuttle bus or a rental car in 2 ½ hours.
We recommend you rent a car for your visit in order to explore all the beautiful beaches , attractions and restaurants in the area. We suggest a SUV due to our roads which are mostly gravel.
